My opinion of the whole illegal downloading thing sparked quite the debate here in MySpace world. Continuing with the coverage, we found out that Universal Records is supporting a new downloading site that is meant to compete with iTunes. It may very well suck, but at least it's a start.
The downloading will be free with the site relying on advertising revenue to pay the bills. They are hoping that this will be the beginning of a new era in digital music.
However, "the rules" still sound a little shifty:
"Customers will be able to download an unlimited number of Universal songs to their computer and one other device. They will not be able to transfer those songs onto a compact disc, and they must visit the site at least once a month to maintain access to their music."
So I guess we'll see what happens huh?

And for the guys, come Cristina Scabbia
