Coheed and Cambria - Neverender NYC

Ok - so I don't want to oversell it, but it was f*cking AMAZING! One of the best if not, the best show I've ever been to. Seriously. I have attached some clips of the show (none of which I took) but all good just the same. There were screens behind them portraying parts of the story and on the last night they played Night Of The Living Dead in the background which was pretty cool. There were also female backup singers who overall were good but sometimes we're just a little off from what the album sounds like - no biggie.

Good news for those of you who couldn't go - they filmed the entire thing to be released on a dvd! Check the clips below.





Oh, and I almost forgot. I totally got my picture with Claudio at the Kill Audio signing at ToyTokyo. I know, I shouldn't rub it in, but I couldn't help it. ;)

Editors and such at MetalHammer have listed their Top 10 Most Overrated Bands ever. I agree with pretty much everyone one of these. Yes, even Nirvana. He was good - but he ain't so good people should be carving his name in their arm.

I use a PC but I don't discriminate - I love all computers. HOWEVER, I am so effing tired of hearing Mac users and their smug opinions about itunes, and iphones and iphoto and all that other i-crap. And in case you were wondering, I'm not just talking to you (you know who you are) I'm talking to all of you. I get it. Your commercials are cute and they poke fun at PC users like they're all fat, lower level executive types and MAC users are so much more hip and "in tune" with the young folk. It's annoying. So, since apparently Pharrell Williams also agrees, Microsoft's mission in the commercial below has worked - I now feel better about being a PC user. Then again, Pharrell Williams could pretty much sway me to do anything. ;)

I've been hearing about this chick for a couple of months now and only now am checking her out. In my opinion she's a mix of Rihanna, Amy Winehouse and Andre 300 from Outkast. What do you guys think? The video and song are pretty amazing - we'll see if she has lasting power.

Noel Gallagher of Oasis pretty much hates everyone but at that same time I secretly still love him because I think he just has low bullshit tolerance like myself. He's ripping Keane again and calling them shit. I don't know much about them, but based on their mauling of Genesis classic "That's All" I may have to agree with Noel on this one.

Seriously, if someone invites you to perform on VH1 Rock Honors for Genesis at least try to learn the song.
