Patrick Stump is not a sex symbol.

Tsk tsk tsk. Driving without a license...

You can't tell me that if he wasn't famous and you just met him in some random bar, you would want to have the sex with him. I simply won't believe it.

No wonder he always wears a hat. Nice comb-forward, champ.

New HIM album producer, Matt Squire on Twitter

Giving HIM updates has pretty much complicated his Twitter which is good considering how long we've waited for anything. Can't wait to hear the beginnings of the new album!

Cute doggie picture on his profile also. Awwwe.

I have a sweet spot for little puglies!

Blender in print is no longer.

I got this nice message on my new subscription to Maxim. I mean, it's the same, right? *eye roll*

Welcome to Maxim!

This note if to inform you that Blender has ceased publishing with the April 2009 issue. The balance of your paid subscription will be fulfilled with Maxim. If you are already a subscriber to Maxim, the balance of your Blender subscription will be added to your existing Maxim subscription.

I would bet my good eye that Spin is ceasing to be as well. My subscription ran out this month and I haven't gotten one single renewal request...

Coheed and Cambria - August 17, 2009 - Headliners, Louisville, KY

Of course, the show wasn't as epic as Neverender but it was really good. Even in shitty Headliners they sounded good. Played fan favorites and not singles which was awesome. I mean, All The Killer - that's incredible live, especially since they're using the same mixes they used for Neverender. Really great. A couple notes about the show. The Church cover was beautiful, the Iron Maiden cover melted faces and Claudio impressed the crowd with some mic stand-guitar playing. Oh, and it was hot as balls while they were playing. I don't know how he did it with all that hair. Speaking of hair - Travis cut his again. Randomness all around, I know, but I also know you Coheed fans are picking up what I'm laying down. Word.

Pete as Gabe? Too much! No mas por favor.

A tweet from Gabe that's really about Pete Wentz so cut me some slack on all the Cobra updates today.

Ding ding ding! Yup that's pete dressed as me. RT: @clarinesadira http://twitpic.com/el0tx this is @petewentz I repeat, THIS IS PETE WENTZ!

And no, I didn't need to highlight the other chica but I didn't want her to feel left out since I highlighted everyone else. Everyone around here is important - except for Mariah Carey.

Scenes from the studio

Updates from My Chemical Romance on their yet to be titled upcoming album. Don't get too excited, their ain't a lot in these - but you'll get your fix.

Paramore - Ignorance

Good video - good song. Her voice is f*cking incredible and so damn unique. <3
Cobra Starship and Katy Perry have filmed their VMA promos - check out the 'making of' clips below. And by the way, Gabe Saporta and Katy Perry, again, are hilarious. Oh, also, I heard that Katy and what's his face are back together. Good for them. Ahhh, young kids in love. ;)

Self Magazine Review of Katy and Cobra at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Kind of an amateur type article really targeted at the Self Magazine type - but the clips from the show are watchable.

Just stop it.

Hot Mess single Good Girls Go Bad gets Cobra Starship top sales week of their career.

Flyleaf talk about their new album. Is anyone still listenting to them anyway?

Smashing Pumpkins name new drummer.

Flame me if you like, but I like some Third Eye Blind songs. NYMag reviewed the new album, some say it's snarky, some say it's not, but it did get UltraGrrrl in on the action, so apparently it conjured up something.

Liam Gallagher's 50 Funniest Quotes according to NME. Good shit.

Fall Out Boy just can't get this video release thing right.

Jack White might be a genius

Jack White got put on the spot to create a new song in 10 minutes for the documentary, "It Might Get Loud." Pretty cool and definitely shows how insanely talented he is particularly since it apparently took way less time than 10 minutes.

Mikey Serpico gives a rundown of Kerrang! Awards 2009

Our good friend Mikey of Serpico (best pic ever) had the pleasure of attending the Kerrang! Awards and wrote a full recap which was posted on their MySpace.  There's an exert posted below, but don't miss the full thing if only to see who he hit in the head with the stress ball from his goodie bag.  Fun times.

Highlighted words link to their meaning on Urban Dictionary.  haha

"One of the oddest characters of the evening was one Mr Oli Sykes. He just looked thoroughly glum all night - cheer up dude, it's a fucking party! Firstly he was being followed around all night by a burly body guard. Like a walk around right behind him all night, stand outside the bog while he's taking a shit, kinda bodyguard. Even Jared "White Gloves and Shades on Inside" Leto didn't have a bodyguard. It's the fucking Kerrang Awards - who was gonna go and molest him!? Very strange. The even weirder thing was when he got a shout out on stage from Limp Bizkit (Wes Borland said BMTH were his "favourite new band") he literally just looked totally blank. No thumbs up. No cheer. Not even a smile! If someone from any band had given Serpico a shout out from stage, no matter if I thought their band was the worst ever I'd at least go "cheers mate!" So yeah, generally an odd night for Oli Sykes."

Cobra Starship streams new album

Via MTV The Leak on Rhapsody.

As of this moment, I am only through 'You're Not In On the Joke.' Mostly winners but that first song made me want to injure myself. Terrible.

MCR talk new album

Gerard talked to Rolling Stone about the new album, including a new song he says will be the best song they're written:
"It's a completely different sound for the band - it's like an anti-party song that you can party to,"

"I can't wait for people to hear it. It brings back, lyrically, some of that wonderful fiction from the first album. I think we wrote our Born To Run, and I'm so amped about that."

"To me, it's the greatest song we've ever written - it's my favourite MCR song,"

And you all know, Gerard would never lie. ;)

Circa Survive has new label and new album in the works.
