G. Way talks new album

Gerard Way, singer for My Chemical Romance (in case you had forgotten) recently spoke with RockSound about their new album.

"A friend who heard the record recently said he now had no interest in listening to our older work anymore, that we had made all our old material redundant. I took it as a compliment, the next thing you do should always make the last thing seem unimportant and I think that will happen when we finally release this album."

I can't wait to hear this new album.  Everytime the release something I am completely impressed and excited about what a grib their song writing and lyrics have on me.  Definitely anticipating this release.

HIM announcing tours starting in December

Normally I would be disappointed since there isn't anything scheduled in the US (as far as I know), however, at least there is something.  Jesus Christ.  This is only the first HIM post this year and it's November.  It's like coming home again, no?  *squee*

Cobra Starship - Hot Mess

Gabe and crew are in Louisville tonight.  I'm not going to the show because they're not headlining. I've seen them 5 times, so paying $30 to see them for a half an hour isn't really high on my list of acceptable expenses.  Anyway, I am watching Twitter to see if they're boozing after the show in which case I may become a 'Hot Mess' myself.  I mean, haven't all of us been like these girls at one point or another?  All I can say is San Antonio, May 2006.  Wow.
