Drake will always be Jimmy to me.
Drake, a rapper who is being touted as "new on the scene" isn't really new at all. It's Jimmy Brooks, from Degrassi TNG. The kid in the wheelchair - but he hates only being known as the kid in the wheel chair. Amiright? Ok, so here's a clip of Jimmy before he was uber-suave 'Drake.' This is if Jimmy hadn't gotten shot. Whoops - did I just spoil it? Anyway, this can't possibly be true. Ashley could never make him walk. She's a pain in the ass. Clearly I know way too much about this show. I am officially a loser.
Enjoy 'Drake'

Isn't this really just too much? I just don't understand. I'm all for taking things to the next level, but this is just too far. I don't even know what's going on. I can't look at it anymore.

Paramore names some tracks for new album.
Everytime I Die touring with Bring Me The Horizon. They're also trying to get Leathermouth out on the road with them. That is of course, if Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance is available.
Dillinger Escape Plan sign new record deal with Season of Mist.
Jackson Rathbone of Twilight will star as crazy-ass, brain-eating, skull fragment-wearing, Varg Vikernes in new movie.
Weezer has a Snuggie. Yeah, I know. I wasn't surprised either. It seems so appropriate for some reason, doesn't it?

I still feel like crap - but let's roll.
Serpico is on the sampler CD in the new Rock Sound. I know! Totally stoked.
Hayley Williams of Paramore has started a Twitter.
Devildriver free download.
Ew - Jennifer Love Hewitt working on another solo album. Really, is that necessary?
On a side note - I read ArjanWrites.com several times a week and this new 'fraiche' business in front of everything is annoying. Does anyone else read this and noticed, or am I just anal retentive?

I think my heart just skipped a beat. Speaking of heart, I thought my summer would be complete with my front row center tickets to Heart June 12th. But alas, while nothing compares to the Wilson sisters rocking my world - this is rad to the Nth degree. I'm so going.

When I used to work at Saks Fifth Avenue we were told never to approach celebrities which didn't seem too hard, I mean, I could really care less if someone if famous. To use a line from Mean Girls, "It's like seeing a dog walk on it's hind legs" but I'm not all about approaching people. However, after someone told me that Debbie Harry came in one time I decided that if she ever did again, besides making an ass out of myself, I would also probably be fired after singing and dancing to "Call Me" across the sales floor in her presence.

Lily Allen - "Why"
A B-side from "It's Not Me, It's You", "Why" is really pretty good. I'm surprised it didn't make it on the album. What's one more song? Really? Hopefully this will become available on iTunes. Speaking of, grab Lily's song "Fag Hag." Good stuff.

White Stripes talk new album.
More Bamboozle talk.
Aversion's best punk albums of the 90's.
and Metal Hammer does the best beards in metal. Digging a little deep for some material I'd say.
Tron 2.0. You know this movie will suck. However, Daft Punk is doing the soundtrack.
Guitar Hero: Van Halen. You knew it was coming...

Good Girls Go Bad
Just listened to the new Cobra Starship song feat. Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl.) The song's titled Girl Girls Go Bad and it's not really standout, but it's good. Her vocals are fairly strong and sultry and the call and response section towards the end really makes the song catchy.

I couldn't be there but here and I assume the same was true for some of you so I posted some of the better videos I found from last weekend. Enjoy! :)

Special Edition guitars to be released with "The Beatles: Rock Band"
Replicas of John Lennon’s Rickenbacker 325 and George Harrison’s Gretsch Duo Jet are being released with "The Beatles: Rock Band" game. They'll be sold separately and will be priced at $90. RollingStone.com mentions that they aren't sure if it's for each or for both but who are we kidding - I'd bet money it's for each.
