All kinds of legal drama

Bands and their labels have been working overtime on these lawsuits either for or against them. Interesting that as the music industry dies everyone begins bleeding every last cent they can before it's too late.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are suing Showtime over the use of the title Californication. The cable channel states that it comes from someone else completely, and not from the RHCP album and song with the same name. They add that the use of Dani California as a characters name in the show is also suspect.

Pete Wentz's sex tape has finally been released though not real will still give you girls a little thrill. Since we've already seen his junk just imagine both together and you should be fine.

And if you're wondering why Fall Out Boy have discontinued the use of "Where The Wild Things Are" imagery in their tour, it's because someone in their camp finally realized they hadn't gotten permission from the writer of the childrens book, Maurice Sendak. So, there are two lessons here - don't be a 'duh' and forget basic things like using shit you didn't create to make money and if you bought a shirt from the first part of this tour, you better hold on to that like it's gold - COLLECTORS ITEM!!!

More of Marilyn Manson's questionable purchases have made it into the headlines. Though we all assumed he bought sick shit with his money (he is Manson after all) who knew he was into the skeletons of 4 year old chinese girls? To make it worse, they are alleging that he made it into a chandelier. Sick.
