Beastie Boys new album track listing.

Marilyn Manson still having a hard time getting back his shock schtick.

Josh Homme trying to work with Mike Patton on new project.

BTW, I met David Sedaris the other day at a book signing. He mostly ignored me in favor of flirting with my male friend Jesse. I would like to say that I'm over it and not bitter, but obviously, that would be a lie since I still insist on talking about it almost a week later. ha!

Gettin' All Political and Shit.

The always political Beastie Boys are bringing some friend along for what Rolling Stone is calling the Swing State Tour. (I say Rolling Stone because I couldn't find this actual name on the BB site - oh well)

Dates at Beastieboys.com

Madonna has apparently 'banned' Sarah Palin from attending any of her shows. I don't even know what to say about this because it's r-word on so many levels and on both sides...

2008 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees

Rolling Stone has released the names of the 2008 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees for induction. It includes Madonna, the Beastie Boys, the Dave Clark Five, John Mellencamp, the Ventures, Donna Summer and Chic.

For more information about each of the inductees visit the Rolling Stone page.

How do you guys feel about these nominations? I get it I just wish I wasn't so tied to an image of what "rock and roll" should be. I know like, Madonna deserves to get nominated for something but I think don't think it's to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Maybe i'm way off base here. Oh well...
