Link it like you mean it

Perez Hilton is a moron. I have an ear too. Too bad I'm not a sell-out fame-whore, then maybe I would have my own label based on nothing also. Pssh.

Ozzy no longer wants to play with Zakk Wylde.

Click here to get a listen to the new Billy Talent album.

Cashing in on death. So tasteful! In related news...so very tacky...

Hear new Five Finger Death Punch here.

Already talk of Guitar Hero 5 set lists...

David Silveria of Korn is done with a capital D.

AFI follow up to Decemberunderground, Crash Love is due to release September 29th.

Guitar Hero : World Tour

I would just like to say for the record that as a big supporter of both the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises that the new Guitar Hero game sucks ass. The drums suck, the mic sucks and from what I hear a lot of the guitars are f*cked too. Color me unimpressed. If your shit works - you're lucky. We ended up taking ours back. Good job Activision - you actually managed to have more problems with your peripherals than Rock Band.

That's all.

Link it like you mean it

I'm becoming more and more convinced that this chick is "leaking" these on purpose to change her image. Amazing how these start coming out right around the same time as her most recent non-Hannah Montana album, eh?

Link

Gwen Stefani is super pregnant.

Link

They're right. Escape the Fate, ARE idiots.

Link

NIN summer tour. And apparently the people at Rolling Stone are about a 2 weeks ahead of the rest of the world since this story was posted on August 21st.

Link

It may be wrong to be a fan of Kill Hannah and not Tokio Hotel (don't lie - you know they sound similar) but I just can't do it. Between the hair and the eyeliner and the clothes those twin brothers have crossed my threshold of tolerance.

Link

The music industry just isn't getting it through their thick skull are they? They do realize that by raising the royalties fees that it will in turn raise the price of the games that will in turn reduce the sales? I guess they don't and this is why the music industry is eating itself. It's full of morons.

Link

Coheed to record a prequel album. Oh yeah, and I'm going to rub it in again - I'm totally going to The Neverender in New York. Mwahahaha!

Ville Valo feeds the haters because he like sto "stir the pot" so to speak.

Link

Secret performers for the Atticus DIY show are calling themselves, "The River People." I"m going to take a calculated guess here and say it's probably going to be Madina Lake.

Link

As Alanis prepares for the realease of her album, people just can't keep talking about Ryan Reynolds. I have said this before and I will say it again - I'm sure she was heartbroken when it happened but trust this - Scarlett Johansson might be younger and a popular actress but she will never be able to help him get a real acting career and she's so f*cking boring I could die. Tom Waits anyone? That album sucks ass.

Link it like you mean it

A pretty amusing video of Bret Michaels talking about Guitar Hero III

Link

New Atreyu video

Link

Will Zeppelin play Bonnaroo?

Link

Who would have thought someone would ever name a band "Circle Takes the Square?" Seriously? Have we gotten so low on decent band names that we have to start naming them after statements from game shows?

Link

If you didn't watch the premiere of Snoop Dogg's new reality show (yes, for real, it's on E!) then you didn't really miss much - other than him telling the yoga instructor he had "something that would open her hips up." Easy cowboy!

Link

Pete Wentz is upset they didn't get a grammy nod - whether or not he's trying to make it sound like he isn't. However, if Fergie got one and I didn't, I might be a little bitter too.

Link it like you mean it

The Romantics, the ones who did the song "What I Like About You" are suing Guitar Hero III for releasing a cover that sounds too much like the original. They're also demanding it be taken off of shelves. Geez...like, if it were someone who had more than one song anyone had ever heard of I would understand but really - who cares?

Link

David Draiman is a putz. I guess if you can't get anyone else to say anything nice about you, you should just say them yourself.

Link

Foo Fighters announce more tour dates.

Link

New Trivium video posted online.

Link

Amy Winehouse allegedly kills a pet hampster. This girl can't get a break can she?

Link it like you mean it

I love Gavin even if he does have a bird chest.

Link

I know some of you like Madonna. I don't. For once Courtney Love says something that is halfway true - too bad she ruins it by calling herself "bionic."

Link

The evolution of music has officially begun folks. Guitar Hero III raked in $100 mil. its first week.

Link

The two HIM shows in LA will be taped for an upcoming video. You know how I love live footage videos - not.

Link

Well they're a motley crew aren't they? Comedian Patton Oswald interviews Maynard James Keenan. How did Patton pronounce Puscifer the right way first and then do it wrong the second time? Silly.

Link

I don't want to admit that I am interested in listening to this new/old Axl album - but I really am.

Link

Mikey's back to MCR and as a welcome home gift they're being sued by the University of Maine.

Guitar Hero III release date broken

Yes, the release date was broken by a Meijer in Michigan (and possibly a Target somewhere) and videos of people putting me to shame playing the game have been lighting fires all over YouTube. I posted Metallica's "One", Cream's "Sunshine of My Love" and AFI's "Miss Murder" below. If you feel inferior just remember, you're almost certainly better at this than I am. ;)

I don't condone Ted's behavior but who would have ever thought a state like South Dakota would have had a problem with it? Aren't they a bunch of gun nuts over there? If you're from SD and you're reading this page, we mean everyone except for you...
Link

Shame on whoever bought this shit. How dare Fergie get 3 #1's off that album. Hell, off any album for that matter.

We know Courtney - you're amazing. You warn everyone of everything. Such a do-gooder that Courtney Love is.
