Dates for final Nine Inch Nails tour....EVER!!!

*insert dramatic soap opera music here*

Does anyone really think this will be the last time Nine Inch Nails tours. Ever? Seems a little drastic. We'll see. Either way, if you think it will be, below are you last chances to see them live. Take out a small loan while we're talking about it - it surely won't be a bargain.

Aug 23 - Webster Hall, New York
Aug. 25-26 - Terminal 5, New York (Saw Coheed here. If you haven't been - it's incredible)
Aug. 28-29 - Aragorn Ballroom, Chicago
Sept. 2 - Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles
Sept. 3 - Henry Fonda Theater, Los Angeles
Sept. 5 - Wiltern Theater, Los Angeles
Sept. 6 - Echoplex, Los Angeles

Katy Perry suing Katie Perry.

Events like this will be the death of Bonnaroo. Stop being stupid people!

Hear the new Mars Volta here.

Metal Hammer Golden God Winners 2009. I can't believe Slipknot won two categories...speaking of lame, I was at a bar the other night and the young female bartender greeted some trying-too-hard-to-look-like-an-edgy rocker friends by saying, "I smell metal!" Ew. You want to know what I smelled? Their mom's basement and lonliness. Zing! I'll be here all night.

Bonnaroo last Nine Inch Nails show in the US. Tear. But we all know they'll be back eventually.

Big shocker - guy who won Rock Band: INXS is now homeless after being fired. I wonder if the drugs had anything to do with it...dumbass.

If Katy Perry hooks up with Benji Madden then maybe she's the dumbass. Good thing she's probably telling the truth and didn't. I mean, he goes by Benji for christssakes!

I'm becoming more and more convinced that this chick is "leaking" these on purpose to change her image. Amazing how these start coming out right around the same time as her most recent non-Hannah Montana album, eh?

They're right. Escape the Fate, ARE idiots.

NIN summer tour. And apparently the people at Rolling Stone are about a 2 weeks ahead of the rest of the world since this story was posted on August 21st.

It may be wrong to be a fan of Kill Hannah and not Tokio Hotel (don't lie - you know they sound similar) but I just can't do it. Between the hair and the eyeliner and the clothes those twin brothers have crossed my threshold of tolerance.

Link

The music industry just isn't getting it through their thick skull are they? They do realize that by raising the royalties fees that it will in turn raise the price of the games that will in turn reduce the sales? I guess they don't and this is why the music industry is eating itself. It's full of morons.

Link

Coheed to record a prequel album. Oh yeah, and I'm going to rub it in again - I'm totally going to The Neverender in New York. Mwahahaha!

Nine Inch Nails in association with their recent release of 'Ghosts' (which by the way was "free" and still grossed $1.5 million dollars with its special editions) will expand to offer a "film festival" devoted to the album to be created by fans. Now THIS is how you beat the declining record industry. He took the time to personally to sign 2500 of these special editions and got amazing results...we always knew he was a genius though, didn't we? Shame-free <3's Trent.

Kerrang! is so slow sometimes. I posted this Kill Hannah tour a month ago and they even failed to mention that Serpico would be there.

This is how you avoid the plague of the music industry. Trent Reznor is a genius. Amazing what a little effort produces, eh?

This can't possibly be entirely true. I used to have a shop teacher in middle school who wouldn't show anything in his class on "down" days other than The Little Rascals and The Three Stooges because they didn't have copyright laws. We thought he was full of shit but maybe he was right all along.

Nine Inch Nails vs Smashing Pumpkins vs Sluts

Trent Reznor has taken issue with what he's sees as a corporate approach to the new Smashing Pumpkins.

"I was never a big SMASHING PUMPKINS fan back when they were the PUMPKINS, not to shit on Billy or anything but I don't hear anything that would make me want to care. I think trying to resurrect the name SMASHING PUMPKINS... it's all a bit corporate for me."

Nine Inch Nails was supposed to perform right before the Pumpkins at the Reading Festival mentioned below but when he found out who was on the lineup he opted out.

"I heard the lineup for another day and that sounded a lot better than the lineup on the day we are playing, so I doubt you will see me on the side of the stage for FALL OUT BOY!"

I've said it before and I'll say it again - he looks more and more like he could be my dad everytime I see him. Maybe when I said that I meant sugardaddy. I don't remember.
Speaking of Billy Corgan he apprently called American girls "sluts" while performing at the Carling Weekend: Reading Festival this weekend. After seeing a half dressed girl come up on the jumbotron or whatever the hell that call those things he said, "There's something about a girl who's willing to take her top off so quickly. American girls are sluts too. See — isn't it great to be alternative — you can say all those things."

Firstly, he called British girls sluts too - or whatever nationality that girl with no clothes on was. Secondly, what the f*ck is he talking about? What does that even mean, the "isn't it great to be alternative" stuff? It doesn't even make any sense. He's been hanging out with Courtney Love too much.

NIN spawns some trivia for you guys. Impress me!

As many of you know, NIN has released a new album entitled, Year Zero, which has been getting tons of press for the unique way it has been marketed. There have been secret messages, thumb drives randomly strewn about, strange websites - you know, all that wierd shit. This type of conspiracy/concept/storyboard marketing has been done before, maybe not to this magnitude, but it's nothing new. However, I am intrigued by what the sticker on the cd says.

"Bureau of Morality

Consuming or spreading this material may be considered subversive by the United States Bureau of Morality. If you or someone you know has engaged in subversive acts or thoughts, call 1-866-445-6580. BE A PATRIOT- BE AN INFORMER!"

To all of you who have made it through high school english - major I.Q points if you can tell me what this seems to be directly taken from. There really is only one right answer. I'll be uber impressed if you can not only tell me what book it's from, but also what the Bureau of Morality represents in reference to the book.

Link - no, the answer is no where in here
